Tutt Bryant Project Services News
Thursday, 24 July 2008
In July Tutt Bryant Project Services (TBPS) executed the movement of a large
Naphtha Column which weighed just over 286 T. The Column was supported by
two large platform trailers with turn tables which were required to
distribute weight of the load and allow the Column to be manoeuvred safely
along the route. The overall weight of the combination exceeded 500 T and
required 3 x heavy duty prime movers to complete the haul. The move
commenced at daylight on Sunday and took approx 4 hours to travel 4kms due
to the heavy electrical line switching programme. TBPS team worked very
closely with the local shire, WA Main Roads and Western Power to ensure the
move was successfully executed.
