Tutt Bryant Crane Hire Sponsors Local Race Meet In The North West

The North West branch of Tutt Bryant Crane Hire participated in their second Roebourne Races on Saturday 26th July as one of the major event sponsors for the Roebourne Cup.

The facilities have improved since last year, mainly due to the ongoing sponsorship of local companies, and the hard work put in by the Nor’ West Jockey Club. Visitors and locals really get into the spirit of enjoying a taste of bush racing at its best.

Clients and their staff joined Tutt Bryant’s North West staff for a fun day out which included platters of tasty treats and the odd ice cold beverage. The fashion stakes were high and a few dollars were won and lost by would be punters, but everyone joined in the festivities of the Roebourne Cup.

The Nor’West Jockey Club, which is the oldest operating club of its kind in the state, hosts the event annually, and this year saw another great turn out of approximately 6000 people from locals and tourists alike.

Sponsorship of the Roebourne race round not only contributes to the ongoing maintenance and upgrade of the track facilities, it enhances the relationship with community groups, together with training young indigenous students in station work, horsemanship and cattle husbandry.  The Tutt Bryant Crane Hire Handicap was the 5th race of the day and was comfortably won by Vodka Lime

A day at the races allowed everyone to unwind, forget about the pressures of work for a while and experience outback racing and the hospitality of Tutt Bryant Crane Hire and the Nor’West Jockey Club.
